Hmmm i love the smell of a bookshop, something about the scent of books tingles every muscle in my body. It makes me want to set up camp and spend the days and the nights wandering through the aisles, lovingly gazing at each title. And the touch of the crisp pages of a new book, always gives me goose bumps!

Pick of the day: 'Pride and Prejudice' 

We all know for a fact there is such a thing as too much information...both in the receiving and providing sides! Im constantly at odds with whether I should update my Facebook status or write a new blog post. It seems far too much of a hassle to do both and it seems that i ignore one or the other for significant periods of time. No wonder I havent joined Twitter yet; if i did i think id go half mad having to constantly update things!

One Major Step for Democracy

A sharp blow was bestowed on democracy when Musharraf suspended the constitution in Nov 2007,  however today an extremely crucial step was taken in reversing the damage done on that day.

Today the Supreme Court ruled those actions (the so called implementation of "emergency" rule) as illegal and that all judges placed in the courts by him - all having pledged their allegiance to him - will be removed. 

After all the trials and tribulations the people of this country have been put through, we are finally beginning to see steps being taken in the right direction to fix our judicial system and truly become a democratic nation.
