One Major Step for Democracy

A sharp blow was bestowed on democracy when Musharraf suspended the constitution in Nov 2007,  however today an extremely crucial step was taken in reversing the damage done on that day.

Today the Supreme Court ruled those actions (the so called implementation of "emergency" rule) as illegal and that all judges placed in the courts by him - all having pledged their allegiance to him - will be removed. 

After all the trials and tribulations the people of this country have been put through, we are finally beginning to see steps being taken in the right direction to fix our judicial system and truly become a democratic nation.
